Notifications
Alerts for significant changes in your key metrics
PubPerf sends notifications when significant changes are detected in your key metrics. The notification log gives you a history of all alerts so you can track what changed and when.
Notifications are configured at the organization level:
- Go to Organization Settings.
- Toggle Enable Notifications on.
- Add one or more Notification Emails — these addresses will receive alert emails.
- Save the configuration.
The notification log displays a paginated table with the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|
| Date | When the notification was triggered |
| Project | Which project the change was detected in |
| Type | The metric that changed (PV, Revenue, Impressions, or Page RPM) |
| Previous Value | The metric's previous value |
| Current Value | The metric's new value |
| Changes | Percentage change between previous and current values |
PubPerf monitors the following metrics for significant changes:
- PV (Page Views) — Alerts when traffic changes significantly, which may indicate an issue with your site or a traffic spike.
- Revenue — Alerts when ad revenue changes, helping you catch revenue drops early.
- Impressions — Alerts when ad impression volume changes unexpectedly.
- Page RPM — Alerts when revenue per thousand page views shifts, indicating changes in monetization efficiency.
- Catch revenue drops early — Get alerted before a small issue becomes a major revenue loss.
- Traffic anomaly detection — Identify unusual traffic patterns that may indicate bot activity or SEO issues.
- Post-deployment monitoring — Verify that site changes don't negatively impact key metrics.
