Prebid Analytics

Prebid Analytics gives you real-time visibility into your header bidding operations. Monitor bidder performance, auction dynamics, win rates, revenue, and timeouts across all your Prebid.js demand partners.

Enabling Prebid Analytics

Prebid analytics must be enabled per project:

  1. Go to Projects > [Your Project] > Settings.
  2. Toggle Enable Prebid Analytics on.
  3. Select your Prebid JS Key (default pbjs or a custom key if your setup uses a different global variable).
  4. Save the configuration.

Dashboard Overview

Summary Cards

The default view shows key metrics including:

  • Users — Total unique visitors
  • HB Revenue — Header bidding revenue (with 24h forecast when viewing the 24h range)
  • Impressions Breakdown — Total, HB, Amazon, Direct Sold, Dynamic Allocation, Other, and Empty impressions

Impression Charts

Visualize how your inventory is filled across sources:

  • Total Impressions over time
  • HB Impressions — Filled by header bidding
  • Amazon — Filled by Amazon TAM/UAM
  • Direct Sold — Filled by direct campaigns
  • Dynamic Allocation — Filled by AdX/AdSense
  • Other — Other demand sources
  • Empty — Unfilled impressions

Drill-Down Dimensions

The Prebid dashboard provides detailed breakdowns by multiple dimensions. For each dimension, you can see:

Analytics Tabs

The Prebid module offers multiple analytical views:

  • Overview — Comprehensive summary with all breakdowns.
  • Win Rate — Analyze which bidders win the most auctions.
  • Average eCPM — Compare effective CPM across bidders and dimensions.
  • Bidders — Deep dive into individual bidder performance.
  • Timeouts — Identify bidders that frequently time out and cost you revenue.
  • Page RPM — Revenue per mille (per 1,000 page views) analysis.
  • Page Views — Traffic patterns and page view analytics.
  • Viewability — Ad viewability by ad unit and placement.
  • Content — Content-level header bidding performance.

Filtering

You can apply custom filters to narrow your analysis:

  • Field — Select the dimension to filter on.
  • Operator — Choose the comparison operator.
  • Values — Specify the values to include or exclude.

Multiple filter conditions can be combined for precise analysis.

Currency Support

Revenue and eCPM metrics are displayed in your organization's configured currency, making it easy to understand financial performance at a glance.
